Wholesale Flavours supplies professional flavourings and ingredients for food and drink. Our environmental priorities are to reduce avoidable waste, use resources carefully and consider the impact of sourcing, repacking and delivering our products.

Packaging and deliveries
Packaging protects ingredients during storage and transport. Our aim is to use enough packaging to keep products secure while avoiding unnecessary materials.
- We buy recyclable packaging wherever possible, while ensuring it is suitable for the product and offers the protection required.
- Reuse clean, suitable outer packaging where this can be done without affecting product safety or delivery quality.
- Plan purchasing and dispatch to reduce unnecessary shipments where practical, while meeting customer requirements.
Reducing waste
We separate plastic and cardboard waste on site for recycling, helping keep recyclable materials out of general waste.
Careful stock management and ingredient handling help reduce avoidable losses. We aim to minimise waste through appropriate storage, stock rotation and care during repacking.
Offering a choice of pack sizes also allows customers to order quantities suited to their development and production needs.
Energy and resources
Our aim is to use energy and other resources efficiently across our premises. We will consider opportunities to reduce unnecessary consumption through working practices, equipment maintenance and purchasing decisions, while maintaining the conditions needed for safe ingredient handling.

Responsible disposal
Our approach is to handle business waste responsibly and follow the requirements that apply to its storage, collection and disposal.
Customers should follow product safety information when disposing of unused ingredients and check local guidance for recycling or disposing of containers. Packaging should only be placed in recycling where its material and condition are accepted by the collection service.
